That’s the opinion of this guy.   Reading it though, it is exactly the same issues that Gabe has with his droid phone… which isn’t a Droid X, but a predecessor version.   Seems Droid X doesn’t fix any of those problems.    Mind you, my first inclination with Gabe’s woes was user-error.   Computer-savviness isn’t his thing, which is why I am tapped as his official Chief Information Officer.   But I am pretty savvy with these kinds of things and even I want to throw his brick of a phone out the window.   It is decisively NOT user-error.

As much as I want to like it, I’m afraid my advice is to steer clear of the Droid platform unless you have the patience, skill, and fortitude to babysit your phone all the time.
