Had my teeth worked on today. Lower left. Where the second filling came out and all hell broke loose. The filling didn’t completely come out. I just chipped a piece off while flossing. It was enough of a breach that food would get in. And while the first filling that came out was completely out and I know have a crater on that tooth, this second one hurt like a bitch. (Incidentally, the male dog, whatever that is called, seems to hurt me far more than our female one so I’m not really sure where that phrase came about.)
Anyway.
They are all patched up on that side. Three in all. I really like this dentist, though I’m tempted to give the laser-using one a try. No need for anesthesia that way. But Dr. Brosy, whom I’ve seen before when I was still a minor, was cool in that he noticed additional work needing done in that area after he started drilling away and instead of only doing the part originally scheduled, finished that whole area up. My old dentist would have made me come back again.
Not that I didn’t like my old dentist. But I’m far more impressed with my new one.
My new fillings? Tooth-colored. Can’t really notice them unless you really look and I don’t have many people peering down my mouth ya know. Anywhoo. Its still a little sore in there, but I’m pretty stoked at the repair job.
And as I told my new dentist… I can’t wait until I can come in, have the bud implanted, and just grow a new tooth. To which he nodded his head and replied “It’s coming.” Apparently in the timeframe I read too.
